Evernote questions.
What did you like most about using Evernote to take notes in class?
I really enjoyed having the availability to use Evernote throughout the year in class. In other classes I usually struggle with taking notes when I hand write them. However, using Evernote really helped me take notes, and not just using them in English class. I also used evernote in almost all my other classes and it definetly helped me throughout the year. Evernote is a very good note taking app and is very organized. I really liked the way how it puts your notes in order by date. With that I don't have to search around for my documents. Overall, Evernote is a great app and I am planning to co tinge to use it.
What problems or limitations did you encounter while using Evernote?
With my experience with Evernote, I didn't have many problems. Throughout the whole year there weren't many things that caused me any problems. There are a few things though. One problem I encountered was saving. I am very used to apps that auto-save work that I am doing. Sometimes that would cause me problems with assasignments when I forgot to save manually. One other problem I had with Evernote was that when writing in the notes there are not many different options with changing the text. For example, the is no option to change the color of the text. Other than those minor problems Evernote is a great app.
Do you have any other feedback or suggestion on making Evernote better?
For the most part I like Evernote how it is. The only things I would change would be creating an auto-save option for notes. Another thing I would like to change is giving the notes more options to edit and change your text. Sometimes I like to change the color of the text or change the format and not all those options are available. One other thing that could make Evernote a little better would be some customization. Maybe make am option to change the theme color of the app, or change font texts. It may nor seem like a very important change, but a lot of people like to make things their own. Me being one of them. Other thn a few minor changes evernote should stay pretty much the same.

iPad questions
Having the iPads to our disposal in the classroom really helped me as a student in multiple ways. One way the iPads helped me was that I didn't have to bring anything to class. Everything I needed was saved in dropbox or Evernote. The iPads also saved a whole bunch of paper throughout the year. Another great benefit of having the iPads was that we got to try out a lot of different apps. Even if some of the apps we tested weren't good, it was still a cool and fun experience. The iPads also made projects a lot more fun. They made the projects more organized and we usually could complete the entire project using only the iPad.
Personally, I didn't have many problems with the iPads. If anything, the only problem I had with the iPads is that we did have to share them with the other English classes and the science classes. Having to share them wasn't a huge deal, but I feel that if we had them to ourselves that we could definetly use them more to their full capacity. Also, if we didn't have to share them we could work on the iPads at home too. One other problem was that if Mr. Provenzano wasn't here for some reason, the iPads were usually not available. This causes a problem because since we work almost completely on the iPads, when we don't have access to them it can make things more difficult. For example, if we were working on a project and we didn't have access to the iPads, we wouldnt be able to directly work on our project that is saved on the iPad
I think that the school district should make it so students have their own iPads to work on. This would help because then we would be able to work directly on assignments and projects at home. With this we would be able to get more work done and make room to learn more. Also, we would be able to use the iPad for not just one class, but all our classes. In my own opinion, if I had access to an iPad for all my classes, I would be able to work better throughout the year. The iPads truly do make things easier and more organized. Another reason why having our own iPads is that it would really help the kids who don't have a smartphone to use outside of class. This year when I was outside of class I would work on my iPhone, but that would not be possible for a kid who doesn't have that privilege.
